Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the spring festivals that Saga Hill would have been participating in as a vendor during 2021 have been postponed to 2022. As the COVID pandemic changes, I will put any updates to the fall events here and on my Facebook page.
In the meantime, Thank You for supporting artists and small businesses in whatever way you can during this trying time.
UPCOMING POP-UP MARKETS…
2021 Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival – September 10 – 12, 2021 – I AM SORRY. I HAVE CANCELED MY PARTICIPATION DUE TO THE PANDEMIC AND CONTINUED HIGH RISK OF GATHERING IN GROUPS INDOORS (mainly since the venue does not require masks or proof of vaccination).
Unfortunately, this 2021 event is another casualty of COVID times. There were not enough participants or volunteers willing to risk exposing themselves and others to the ever-changing virus by holding the event. This annual fair has been held for over 40 years (until COVID hit) and features the highly sought-after work of the accomplished members of the WGM. This is a fabulous opportunity to find a wide variety of handcrafted items that are exquisitely created. I typically offer handknit, dyed, and woven items under the Saga Hill Studio label. [In the past, this event has had no entrance fee.]
Eisenhower Community Center, 1001 Hwy 7, Hopkins, MN 55305.
All local artists and producers! Local brick and mortar yarn shops are generally unqualified to attend so this is a market where you'll find unique items. Support local micro businesses such as artists and small farms, get your winter project supplies, and finish some unique holiday shopping. Saturday, 9 AM – 4 PM. [no entrance fee]
After being postponed for 2 years due to COVID, the Shepherd's Harvest Festival is BACK! Find Saga Hill in Building B, Washington County Fairgrounds, Lake Elmo, MN. This is the largest annual fiber event of the year in Minnesota. Sat: 9 AM-5 PM; Sun: 10 AM-4 PM. [$5 entrance fee]
More markets are added as opportunities come up, so check back here or follow us on Facebook for updates.
