Hand-Dyed Cotton Loop Scarves

Create your own fashion statement! Wear in a single loop or wrap several times around your neck or head. Or wear several at once! The wearing options are as varied as your creativity—and the unique color patterns make the exclusive scarves strikingly versatile for garment matching.

I hand-sew these 10 inch x 60 inch scarves from a lightweight 100% cotton jersey and hand-dye them through a "bread bag" dye process. The dye process is akin to creating snowflakes—every scarf color and color pattern is unique and not reproducible. Therefore, when a particular scarf has sold, it's totally out-of-stock, never to be made again!*

*NOTE: These scarves are offered at my vendor markets so to avoid problems with selected scarves being sold out, the scarves are unavailable online.

Recycled Silk Sari Ribbon
Image of Recycled Sari Ribbon

This gorgeous silk ribbon is derived from the waste material of the sari weaving process. The material is approximately 1/2-1 inch (1.3-2.5 cm) wide. Lengths of different sari fabric are sewn together making a skein of ribbon about 56 yards (51 m) long. Each skein contains a variety of brilliantly dyed sari fabric coming from ends of the sari weaving process. No skein is the same. Knit or weave directly from the ribbon to make a unique, color-filled fabric. (Sorry, since each skein contains a variety of colors, we cannot honor specific color requests. These ribbons were dyed in India and not with Minnesota Series Dyes™.)
